8 Fremont Las Vegas, NV
Circa
October 28, 2020 to present
In the midst of the global Covid-19 pandemic, which saw Las Vegas and virtually every other hospitality business in the world either close or severely curtail their operations, Circa Las Vegas opened it's new casino on October 28, 2020.
The new mega property was built from the ground up on the former site of the Las Vegas Club, Golden Goose, Girls of Glitter Gulch strip club, and Mermaids. It replaced all of the properties that formerly had an address of 2 to 32 Fremont. It was downtown Las Vegas first new build from the ground up in 40 years. The last being the Sundance in 1980, which is now the D, also owned by Circa owner Derek Stevens.
On December 28, 2020 Circa began to welcome guests to 512 of its 777 hotel tower rooms. Initially 165 guests took advantage of early promotions for free days stays. The 1.25-million-square-foot hotel is an adults only property.
Everything about the Circa is big, bigger, and biggest and expressed in superlatives by their juggernaut marketing team.
“The largest sports betting experience in the world, where the most advanced technology, including a 3-story sportsbook , meets good old-fashioned Vegas hospitality.
“The Best Pool in History- Chill in one of our six pools on three different levels for a perfect view of our massive 40-foot tall high-definition screen– and everyone around you.”
In 2017 the Las Vegas Club block began to be demolished for the construction of the Circa
