Playland Arcade is listed in the Fuller’s Index Plus  as being open first from January 7, 1944 to 1945?

Next  under George Parry from May 8, 1945 through (?) but from the advertisement above it was at least 1953.

The third mention is for Playland Bar and Arcade under Owen Lloyd Parry from September 9, 1954 through ?

Playland Arcade and Cocktail Lounge Postcard
Here are a couple of old Playland postcards with the
"Have Fun in the Sun" logo.

This was a popular generic Las Vegas postcard where the businesses could have their name placed at the bottom of it.

The one to the left has a 1946 postmark.
It was sent from Las Vegas to Mishawaka, Indiana.

It has an interesting message that reads, as closely as I can decipher;

"Don't pay attention to this card as there is a Travel Bureau here.
   Haven't been able to get as much for it as I would at home.  Am trying to get passengers to bring home with me. If I can't, will go through Tulsa Okla. and try to get a trailer East out of there.

Floyd..   Hope you can read this

This Playland Arcade and Cocktail Lounge Postcard adds
the 129 S 1st address that appears around 1952.
